Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer, recognized as being a part of the group One Direction. The parents of his son are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February, 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There, along with three schoolmates, he formed his own band called White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. The musician always had an interest in music. However, he wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. In the past, he was employed for a short time in a bakeshop in the city he lived in with the aim of helping economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. His band was forced to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were formed in 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Simon Cowell and were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were one of the top contenders in the contest. The group was placed in third spot after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which were the winners. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to win the competition. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
