Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Wellington and made her debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the character as Flora in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 for Best supporting Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin, born July 24 the 24th of July, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster in the category of Best Supporting actress for acting as the bright and interesting child of Holly Hunter's main part in The Piano. After responding to a call for auditions, she was able to audition when she was nine and having no acting experience before that the actress was chosen for Flora McGrath's role. Flora is the daughter of a Scottish pianist, who was deaf. The couple moved to New Zealand during the middle of the nineteenth century in an effort to arrange a marriage. Her move to the United States as a teen.
