Ana Isabelle Bio

Ana Isabel Acevedo Aviles (born December 7, 1977) is a Puerto Rican dancer, singer and actress. She released her debut album Por El Amor in December 2007 and was awarded Univision's Viva el Sueno award for 2009. Ana Isabelle is an award-winning Puerto Rican actor, singer and songwriter, along with dancer. Her part in Steven Spielberg remake of West Side Story as Rosalia was filmed on location in New York City. She was member of the ensemble cast of Laurence Fishburne's Imprisoned. In addition, she co-starred as "Dementia thirteen" in Coppola's remake. Ana's US Television debut was in Seasons Of Love, opposite Taraji P. Henson and Gladys Knight. She also appeared in the remake of Coppola's "Dementia 13". Her television credits also include Younger Strangers as well as Big Dogs. She performed her New York Stage Debut Off Broadway in the Musical I Like it Like That with Tito Nieves and won Broadway Worlds Regional Award for the best Actress both for her performance in the role of Eva Peron in Asolo Repertory Theatre Evita as well as Anita in the Guthrie Theatre's West Side Story. The actress has performed for packed audiences both as a soloist and duets at Carnegie Hall with Gilberto Santa Rosa, Luis Fonsi, Luis Feliciano and Citifield, singing her rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, for the NY Mets. Ana Isabelle released three successful albums both in Latin America and within the US. Over 30 million Latinos chose Ana Isabelle to win the title in Viva el Sueno which was a Univision production of a music reality show in which Ana Isabelle won. Billboard Magazine called her An Artist to Watch.
